Rob.c.weiss's Journal, 25 March 2014

Getting closer to that last mini-goal of under 200! :D But then I'll shift my goal weight to 180, which is closer to where I want to end up. Won't know till I get there if that's where I'll need to be.

Be prepared for a giddy journal entry when I get to 205 or under -- in my senior HS picture I looked GREAT (at 17, it was the best I'd ever looked in my life). I'm 99% sure I was 205 in that picture. I've never been back to 205 since.

I hope you're all DOING FANTASTIC! Peace.

Awesome results! WTG, you'll be under 200 before you know it!

That's exciting Rob. I still remember when I went past the 200 marker. It felt for the first time like I was really making it happen. You started higher than I did. My guess though is breaking through the 200 mark will make you feel better than getting below 300 did. You had so far to go back then that it likely felt like you had eternity to go. Cheers.

Bet is is so close you can taste it! BTW - I fully understand what you mean about goal weight. How the heck do any of us know how much we are supposed to weigh? Guess we'll know when we get there.

Way to go Rob. I can relate to that feeling. I'm now at the lowest weight I've been in my adult life, except for maybe just after getting out of boot camp. well worth the effort, especially if you have a lifelong strategy to stay there.

True words, Draglist. Fitting the same size pants I wore when I was a High School athlete is still amazing to me.

@NM, you are so right. I cannot wait for that day I reach 199.9 or less. I'll be honest... when I started last year, my true hope was to at least get to 225. That was my minimum. I wanted to get lower than that, but envisioning anything less than 205 seemed out of the question. Thank you for all the support, my friend!

Thank you @Buffy. Yep. Even so much closer than when I started, I still have no clue what my goal should really be. There needs to be a better way. Those doctor's charts really bite. (no pun intended) :D

@Bill, thanks so much, sir!!! Ahhh, and about those old weights: This is my last one... the last one I can remember anyway. After this, it goes into my teen weights. I really don't remember those very well. I seem to remember being around 180 when I was 13 or something. But I'm really not sure. I remember 180 as a bad thing. I think that was when I first started TOPS (when I was 13). But it might have been 165. Really can't remember.

@CPModem, thank you, and that is fantastic! You're doing great! And you're so right, the next challenge is that lifelong strategy. In some ways, I'm really hoping to get some of those test-answers from folks like @NorthernMusician and @TXSnowman (and @Draglist!). I know at every stage, we all need all the help we can get (and give). Thanks again.
