I learned something over the past few weeks: I'm not going to track what I eat! It wasn't hard to figure out because I just wasn't doing it. But more importantly, I'm learning that I don't have to track my intake to lose weight! Eureka! I've found a way to eat most of what I have been eating(minus the pop). The key for me is eating often & in small amounts. I NEVER eat seconds of anything anymore. And if I want something bad, I eat half of a serving or even just a bite. When I stepped on the scale about 2 weeks ago & I was up to 212 lbs & that set me back in motion! That moment terrified me since I haven't weighed that much since my pregnancy. I'm now sitting at 205 & my goal is to reach 200 by May. I've done the "Fast & Furious" approach to weight loss along with a dozen other fad diets & I'm done with all that! I'm eating more produce, less junk, & drinking lots of water. I keep busy with my little ones outside & I fill my mind with other things besides my food obsession. So far it is working & I'm thrilled to find a good fit for me!
