Woo! Almost out of the 230's neighborhood! I tried *and failed* to do p90x and then switched to Slim in 6 which has been working out a lot better for me. I could do the cardio and yoga p90x videos, but...man...I can't do a lot of regular pushups, let alone the crazy ones you have to do on there. I found myself marching in place for a lot of the moves and decided that I'd cross that bridge later on when I was ready to. Dietwise, I feel like I've been doing okay. This is gonna make me sound like an alcoholic, but I've found that cutting out beer to be the most difficult aspect of this whole thing so far...lol. I'm starting a video log of my weight loss as well because I feel like it'll help me motivate myself.
I just wish I could get my husband on board with this, it would certainly be a lot easier on me if he were. We both lost a decent amount of weight a few years ago when we dieted/worked out together...unfortunately, all those pounds came back and decided to invite some friends along since we got married about 4 months ago. I'm gonna keep working on him...he needs change just as badly as I do.
PS - somebody please buddy me! I feel lonely when I get on here sometimes and it's like "you have 0 buddies"...lol.
