Oh-Emm-Gee. It's like... PC gaming crack, and it's made by the same company that makes the awesome Half-Life games. It's a goofy multiplayer shooter that happens to amazing. I recommend watching the hilarious "Meet the..." videos to get an idea of what it's about. To play it for free you need to have Steam account (which is also free) so you can download it. You can go to steampowered.com The site says the free weekend starts Thursday, so it might be available now. The super-mega-awesome "Meet the..." videos are on various interwebTubes and at the official site, teamfortress.com/movies.htm

One warning though from a fellow noobie... people have been playing this game for a while so when you first start off it seems slightly impossible, though still fun. It does get much better once you get your bearings.

Hmm.. So it's PvP? I'm at work so I can't look at anything because they've blocked all "gaming" categories. Lol. I usually don't like PvP because of the Internet Dickwad Theory. Thats why I quit WoW.

Basically... sort of. I'm kind of confused on how to explain that. When I read PvP I only think of MMOs. But basically... yeah. It's red team vs blue team. It is very much a classic shooter in the vein of Quake or Unreal or Halo multiplayer. If you've never played a FPS game and you just jump in to Team Fortress 2... I'll pray for you. LOL Like I said the learning curve is pretty harsh since the competition is so good (compared to me anyway). But you can't go wrong with FREE! Well, free trial for the weekend anyway.

Lmao. Wow... I like some shooters... But I get sick of the whole "you're in some kind of military.. fighting some kind of other military/aliens/terrorists... here's some big guns" plot. It's old. You can tip off your ubernerd boyfriend about some freebie TF2, but if he really likes it he might not move from the computer for the rest of the weekend. I think the first time I played TF2 was the longest I ever stared at a computer screen. Too awesome... can't. stop. playing. LOL

Lol. I told him about it and he said he's played it before so he will probably download it on my computer tonight. Haha. I have my ways of luring him away from the screen if I want to. Loosing 20lbs certainly helped with that method. Hahaha.

I'm still wondering about the ghosts in your house... anymore action? While I was reading your journal about them my mail lady drove up & honked really loud 3 times. It really startled me. Oh, yeah,... & as I say this Constantine is on tv. He's a kid on the bus and the people around him are demons, freaky looking ones...it's dark & scary in my big house w/ my hubby 6 hours away...hummm, fun. I have never seen this... I have a feeling that it may not be good to watch alone at night. Sorry to change the subject BTW. I was just curious about "the haunting".
