Hermiones Mom's Journal, 04 March 2011

OK -- I cheated and didn't record my weight last Saturday -- because the scale showed I had gained two pounds, and it was so bizarre, given my diet and exercise, that I had to assume I was holding water. Sure enough, today my weight is 4 pounds less than last Saturday, and I certainly didn't lose 4 pounds in a week. So I'm feeling much better and I'm now a half-pound below the halfway mark, which is special cause for celebration.
183.4 lb Lost so far: 50.6 lb.    Still to go: 41.4 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Diet Calendar Entry for 04 March 2011:
1448 kcal Fat: 57.23g | Prot: 92.83g | Carb: 142.73g.   Breakfast: laughing cow light, tomatoes, onion, lox, sprouted rye bread. Lunch: reduced fat mozzarella shredded, tomato basil sauce, green peas, chicken italian sausage, tasty bit zany multigrain, barley, cooked. Dinner: tomato basil sauce, bella terra pasta, tomatoes, artichoke hearts, mixed greens. Snacks/Other: greek olives, dark chocolate cherry cashew. more...

That seems to happen once in a while. My weight goes up and down daily. I also weigh in daily, but record weekly because of it. Its ok. Celebrate!

Thanks, gals. Tonight is my splurge night when I get my weekly ice cream, so I'm celebrating appropriately. Especially since I'm a slow loser, and what keeps me going is the knowledge that the scale is going in the right direction -- and also that the longer I do this the more it is truly a lifestyle that I think I can stick with long-term.
