Fatsecret is working on the iPad again. Yay!

I had a retired woman, a CASA volunteer ask me yesterday if I was one of those people who looked forward to Fridays. Huh?! I suppose when retired Fridays lose their meaning but seriously? Do I? YES. And now it is Friday. Yay! Not a lot on my plate today either which is nice. Need to pick up a few things at the market before I get home. DH has tonight off too (usually he works Friday night) and we have a season of Game of Thrones to watch. Again, yay!

"New" low this morning to boot! What a great way to end the week. Next week is kind of crazy. I have a training to attend next Thursday and Friday. Looking forward to it. Topic is infant mental health, my favorite. Also a woman I've worked with in the past from Michigan is presenting. I have not seen her in a couple years, will be lovely to see her! I think I'll get a room and stay over in Spokane on Thursday. My youngest lives there and we are going to have dinner together. I will need to be very careful of my calories though ... But I can do it!

Seems like I had things I wanted to share when I couldn't write a journal but now my mind is blank! I suppose it's just as well, more time for exercise, right? I haven't noticed a difference yet in my clothes. I am so looking forward to expanding my wardrobe again. I have so many clothes I simply can't wear. Would love to pack away the bigger sizes again. Fortunately it's winter, hopefully as the weather brightens so will my wardrobe.

I am grateful.

Safe travels on wintry roads.
Only eating one little piece of a choclate bar at staff meeting this week ( really GOOD chocolate!)
Sleeping well.
Feeling relatively well.
Making progress back to a reasonable weight.
And of course, Friday and coffee!

Weekends are always more challenging. So I will continue to be mindful, make wise choices, and be kind to myself! Take care my friends!

Hi Moose Yay to the new low. Its true, Fridays do lose their meaning when you don't work. On the up-side you don't have to squash everything into Sat and Sun. There's no making sure you've got your work things ready and watching the clock in the mornings. Its all good stuff providing you don't vegetate and have someone to share thing with.

Congrats Glen!! That's awesome!!! There is so much more we know now about how babies grow, develop, the science is very interesting and overwhelming too. You will make an awesome Grandpa!!!

Just did the math. 18 lbs down since I woke up from my food induced coma in January. Me thinks I best not complain!

Even though I retired to run my own business which is normally open on Saturdays or those days take me to trade show.. Friday still produce that TGIF feeling. Not as fab as Sundays for me but still it seems like 'whew... survived another ... ' or something. I don't think I ever caught the CASA reference in the past... what a job you had! I have considered volunteering but I'm not ready for the heavy emotional lifting right now but we do have a local here and I will keep it in mind when I'm a little better. I'll continue giving healthy donations until my mental and physical are ready to partner up.
