Spin bike last night for 30 minutes in 80 degree office. Was a lot, honestly, I got really hot and my face was pretty red after. I need to figure out something better for the real summer heat and I think it's going to be doing it earlier in the day. Ugh, I like to get out of the office before it's hot. Managed to pull something in the front of my left shoulder on the bike somehow as well as dropping a full metal water bottle on my ankle bone in a separate incident. On the positive side I drove my car to puppy class and back with no drama. So there's that. My arm hurts, it's hard to lift above my head to put on a shirt, kinda sucks. Options: I can walk, I can treadmill and I don't know about swimming at the moment. Might be okay. Going to give it a day first.

I was last minute leader for class last night. Twenty dogs, tons of puppies and my niece with me. controlled chaos. got through it, it was fun because some of the people who have been away so far showed up so mini reunion afterward which was nice. Ran around with my dogs before to burn off their crazies. I always enjoy that. Good excuse to look stupid. I have them stay and I run away as fast as I can and then it looks like I'm being chased down by a pack of wild dogs. no one ever gets in the way, I can't imagine why not???

Shot of "the gauntlet" where we line up and have the dogs stay and recall them with lots of distraction. metaphor for my life some days lately.

Down this morning, blob receding, muscle holding. Onwards.

Sorry to hear about shoulder. Watch out for rotator cuff injuries / they are a beast! I like reading about all your activities- reminds me to get moving & active! Have a “cool” day, Kat! 😻

Reminds me of when I get home and someone lets Buster out and we play a quick hide and seek while I run from him around our cars. I am sure to anyone who comes to the stop sign- it looks like I am running scared from a big dog. Sorry about your shoulder. That sucks!

😂 I love playing hide and seek with dogs. They get so confused! Using TENS on shoulder, helps. I don’t think it’s more than a strain, just weird doing it on the bike, especially since i was focusing on not leaning on the bars too hard because i hate it when my hands fall asleep.

Gib, I'm glad you enjoy my weirdness and I hope it does motivate you to keep moving. Maybe not to put yourself in the path of a pack of wild dogs chasing you, but to take a walk and take more of those gorgeous pics. I miss green places.

DMSO + Aspercream. Both roll on from Amazon. Harsh on the skin, but if you can tolerate that, you can be able to work through a lot.

Happy you are out having fun with the dogs. I am able to make it thru the day thanks to Tiger Balm, their patches have become another go to and probably be just the thing for your shoulder. I have become immune to Salon Pas patches, and the Lidocaine patches never did anything for me. Hope you get quick relief.

30 minutes on spin bike in an 80 degree office! I couldn't do any kind of exercise in an 80 degree office. I don't even go outside to walk when it's 80. If I walk I have to get out as soon as it is light outside. Sorry to hear about your shoulder and I hope it heals quickly.
