Eat 5k calories and lose 4 pounds. The beauty of coming back from vacation where I was averaging more than that.
198.2 lb Lost so far: 21.8 lb.    Still to go: 8.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

How do you manage to defy laws that govern human biology?

I don't. I was in a surplus but it was way below my vacation surplus since I was more active and lifted weights and ate fewer calories. So less food in the system, and a lot less water weight.

Until I tried this myself (adjusted for weight - so eating twice as much as usual, and then cutting a bit), I would also have said that Diablo was defying CICO and that this was proof that some people are just lucky/have it easy. But yeah, eat way more - slight spike in weight. Eat a bit less, down it whooshes.
