Day 25 - Another small loss - 6 Kg total loss and my belly has now reduced by an inch

Prelude to a moan - Accurately calculating the caloric value of food eaten is a simple thing - Basically weight it and then use the FS food app tab to record it. There are obviously a few error opportunities here and there but probably taken overall it's accurate within a few percent.

Moan - The same cannot be said about collecting calorie usage of your own exercise data via a step counting fitness band. Calories estimates seem to vary wildly 20% - 50% variances are typical - It's perplexing and after reading up I have taken to using an online calculator in conjunction with my current band to record my data, hopefully going forward calorie deficits will equate better to lost weight. Moan over. If anyone uses an accurate method or free application for calories used please let me know?

Other news. Just twelve days ago aside from a little gardening I had done no exercise at all not even a stroll round the block for well over a year. Yesterday I threw caution to the wind and jogged/walked three very hilly miles it took me 37 minutes of 30 mins jogging and 7 minutes walking - I am a little stiff today but also mighty pleased.
Going forward I need kerb my enthusiasm a little, because know that slow and steady is much safer and will reduce my incident risk considerably.

Today is recovery day for my legs - In addition to keeping to my usual food metrics I'm hoping to consume over 30g of fibre and see what that's like.
