Medium walk, ran into some friends, so technically two short walks with a break in between. We're all so happy to be free and outside again. I can't imagine my life trapped indoors all the time. I had some family up in the LA area, very hip and urban people until the lockdown. Thankfully, they were able to relocate and have since embraced a much more rural lifestyle which is pretty cool. It wasn't red or blue states either, it was open space. The former mall rat has grown up and is doing things like hiking, skiing and climbing and is happy. What's the point of this? If you made it through, take this moment to seize your joy and embrace it be it going outdoors, spending time with friends and family, or just doing something you enjoy.

Numbers are messy this morning, there's a cup of coffee in there, so that skews the fat to muscle ratio. Work call is over, I have some go-backs, but no biggie, plan is to give my stinky dogs a bath and then swim (after I rinse off myself). I took all my gift cards from Christmas and ordered parts to finish up the bigger fire pit and some fans for the house because it will get super hot starting next week. I don't mind, but I do need to be able to cool it down. Sitting here under the umbrellas listening to all the birds. I think the hooded orioles had babies this year because there's a lot more chatter. Need to get up and start my day off officially.
