hmm. The scale was stuck all week, in spite of my faithful exercising and careful food intake. I kept the calorie intake to about 1200 each day and either walked, ran, or took a spinning class on 6 of the 7 days. And the scale did not budge. Finally, my bowels woke up... and... results. I once read an article about the virtues of cleansing our systems on a regular basis... we literally carry around pounds and pounds of "stuff" in our intestines and bowels. The lesson here I guess is perseverance.
161.0 lb Lost so far: 21.8 lb.    Still to go: 11.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
