Don't be sorry Chris! This is such a big adventure to have a baby, I don't think I could think about anything else! I am very happy for you, everything seems to be well with your pregnancy. Hope you have enough time to rest, between work, school and the wedding preparations... Have a great day!

I remember having to give blood durring my pregnancies, but I don't remember it being a lot... wonder why you have to so much. Also, if your blood type is O- your going to have to get two shots - one at (I think) 28 weeks, and one right after the baby is born, and both in the butt! I remember one of the shots the lady hit a nerve, and I back-kicked her! LOL It was a total reflex, but so funny!

good grief Chris!!!! We love baby related entries!!! No apologies ever again. We write about life here ... the weight loss is just a side line!! LOL!!! Babies, weddings, romances, sporting events, all sorts of things!!! It cracks me up that NOW that you are pregnant you don't seem to be gaining ... but you MUST listen to your doc and be a good girl, okay??? Nutrition is VERY important for that growing life inside of you!!! Wedding is just around the corner!!!

The tests are pretty much over. That's good news about the results. I know for me it wasn't so much about Down's per se but it just felt like a license to be happy about the pregnancy and relax a little. Of course my risk factors are all much higher (at 36) than they were last time (at 33). Crazy. Like I wrote I think last time, we went in at 18 weeks then had to go back at 20 weeks because the brain and heart aren't developed enough at 18 weeks to measure what they want to measure. I was irritated at the time but whatever. Those in-depth ultrasounds are the best!

The shot for O- only matters if the baby's father has + blood - I avoided the RhoGAM shot because my daughters' father is rH negative like me, so both of my girls are rh negative also. So that was one great thing about my ex - no shots for me!
