I am so tired of the scale going up and down. Why can't it just keep moving down?
246.0 lb Lost so far: 48.0 lb.    Still to go: 40.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Well that would be too easy, wouldn't it? I'm up too, so I guess we will just ride this out together!

If I added up how many times I have lost the same pounds I bet I would be at 100 lbs lost instead of fighting trying to get down to 244. That is all I am asking right now. I just want to be able to say that I have lost 50 lbs. Then I can move on to trying to reach the next goal. I actually had bumped up to around 250...but I refused to put that down on my chart...just refused. If I only weighed once a week I would not have even known! So the battle rages on...and I will win this...there is no other option!!!

I have no choice...hubby lost 70. I have to lose at least that. My ultimate goal is to go from 294 down to 160...that is a drop of 134 pounds. So I am not even half way to my ultimate goal. Dr was thrilled with my progress a while ago. I have to go back again to see him so we will see how far I am by then. He gave me a goal of 20 more pounds from where I was at when I saw him. I think that was at about 35 lbs off. So that would be 55 off and Dr. will be pleased. I have to keep going...

Sounds to me like you're doing it! ..regardless if the scale goes up a lb or 2. 55lbs is something to be proud of. Keep up the good work! (:

I understand your frustration but we have to look at where we started and how far we've come. My weight has come up some since my lowest on this journey but I am still 20 pounds lighter than when I started this. So...... perspective matters! I'd like to see my numbers going back down too. I need patience!

I understand but you have come so far and the end is always the hardest to lose. Remember that when you get frustrated. And think about what you HAVE lost, that is amazing in itself. Good for you, I am so proud of you and what you have accomplished so far. Keep it up. ((hugs)) Mo
