First official day of school for BOTH kids after the break. Now I can finally have my free time for doing Zumba or something. I still have to work on my eating but for the last couple days I have only had 1 can of soda with dinner vs like 4-5 throughout the day. I need to make sure to hold myself accountable for any slip-ups I do as well like if I do eat sweets I need to record them so I can remind myself to not do it. If it is recorded I have a visual of how bad the calories are and a reminder of why eating all of that is really bad for me. Hope this is a better week for me now that TOM is coming to an end.

Is drinking lots more water supposed to make me stay the same weight or make me bloated...or maybe it's just TOM coming to an end then I will start losing...I don't know but I do know what I need to do to go in the right direction

That is awesome that you've cut back on your soda so much! It's so hard to do that. The way I'm breaking my soda habit is by drinking the flavored seltzer water you can find in the soda aisle. Or maybe that LaCroix stuff (however it's spelled?). All the fizzy goodness, none of the sugary guilt. If you aren't used to drinking lots of water, you can bloat. Just keep at it! Once your body gets used to its new supply of water, it will all flush out of your system. Promise! Plus you'll notice that your skin will look healthier, you'll feel healther, your lips won't get chapped as often or for as long, etc. Water is awesome.

My experience with lots of water and bloat is only if I'm over doing it with salt. Then the salt just sucks it up and I am the good year blimp. I had sauerkraut last week and that was a guaranteed bloat. But I didn't care. Don't do kraut that often.

There are a lot of salt substitutes out there. Salt Sense is one. I like to use McCormick's "Perfect Pinch" seasons. Hung up on the Asian one. Also enjoy the Mediterranean. Water shouldn't be an issue. Many of us drink 8 oz. every half to every hour. It's just going to make you pee more.
