Despite this stupid holiday and the stupid holiday things that I have to do at work, I managed to lose just the tiniest bit of weight.
Confused yet? Let me explain...Easter means chocolate, marshmallow Peeps. gummis. If it's chocolately or full of sugar, people associate it with Easter. And our manager brought in TONNES of candy to work.
More work related drama - I work at a theatre. Currently, we are the North American destination for "The Sound of Music." And some *** in marketing thought "Wouldn't it be fun if we held an Easter themed Sound of Music egg hunt in the theatre? But instead of eggs, it will be the notes of the scale people have to find?" Great idea! Until you surprise the staff with your idea on Good Friday. And people with small children don't get to play because big people who are jerks come and take everything and WILL NOT SHARE! ARGH! No music scale I know of has THREE mi.
Okay...work related rant over.
But when I get stressed and can't get out anywhere to ride my bike, I want to curl up with a book and a treat. And treats were abundant this weekend!
Hopefully everything will start sorting itself into its proper place come Monday.
