Retirement?

I don’t know how you are posting when you have so much on your plate, it’s amazing!!!🌸 ❤️ Damablack, thank you and I live with a comedian, so it has rubbed off through the years, certainly not from my side of the family.🙃 I am still working, although stressful, I love my job so I won’t be with him as he has time on his hands.😟. I need to be, as he won’t attack chores or projects on his own. Thanks for the nice comments have a wonderful Monday!🌸 

Myabsaregone, my husband sells specialized ball valves, it is a field that not too many know about. He works with pharmaceutical companies, oil companies, and even NASA-SpaceX. He worked the Midwest of the US and then his company, 6 months ago, gave him ALL of Canada, it was entirely too much, so he was working weekends now to keep up. Since he was handling it, they gave him ALL of South America as well a few weeks ago. He resigned that day. He wasn’t a jerk about it, he worked a few weeks longer, but he really can’t be replaced. He already has headhunters after him, but he is being picky. So, now aren’t you glad you asked?😆 Enjoy your day after you read this book.🌸 

Hey Shrewd -- DH will help if you ask him to take over certain chores permanently (rather than having to request/remind/nag). Some hubbies just need to know your expectations, and then they're good. 👍🏻

Reading your comment about hubby and his job, reminds me of what my hubby always says... if you make it work, even if you're drowning, they'll throw you an anchor instead of a rope. The hardest workers always get more work as their "thanks". 🙄

They didn't offer him more money or anything better. I think they went into shock when he resigned, I am proud of him that he did. His attitude was getting better and better as he was getting closer to the day he was leaving. I love my job, I don’t want him hating his. He always enjoyed working with ball valves, but not at that company.🙁🌼🌼 Thank you Bearnoggin! He is pretty picky so I will be scraping pennies for a while I think. 😬
