243 at Dr's office, so calling it a win win .

2nd pfizer shot = headache, area around injection sore & bruised, upset stomach so didn't eat anything until dinner time, very tired by the end of the day. Thankfully I had the day off , so "slept" in until I had to get up.

Dr. basically just rehashed what the surgery entailed and when I'm due back for a follow up. I have an appointment tomorrow for how to setup and put on the compression leggings. Hopefully they will reduce the swelling and that will equate to pain reduction.

Stay tuned, same bat time, same bat channel.

239.0 lb Lost so far: 58.0 lb. Still to go: 74.0 lb. Diet followed reasonably well.

I just discovered compression ankle socks. They’re kinda amazing.

I hated the compression socks! They don’t stay up very well. Get your self some Jobst body glue . It’s a roll-on and roll it around the top of your leg and put the sock top over it so your sock won’t roll. It is water soluble and washes right off.

They say lady’s reaction to the injection is more severe than mens. Wouldn’t you know it. I had a heart attack within 3-4 days of getting my 1st flu shot so my doctors say I could have a worse heart attack with the covid vaccine. Not reassuring. Hope you are feeling better.

Sorry you had such a hard time. Here's hoping the compression devices get that lymph moving. I also have some recommendations for restoring elasticity to your blood vessels through specific dietary interventions to share with you should you be interested. My second shot was better than the first, even though I didn't have any serious side effects except a sore arm for a day. The person giving the second shot was more gentle with me and manipulated my arm beforehand to get the muscle to relax. That made a big difference for the injection site. I did have a headache the next afternoon but that may have been because of dialing back on my coffee consumption.

compression and then ice was what I used after hip surgeries...
