Happy 😃 happy 😃 Saturday...positive thoughts and energy to everyone.....

Scales up slightly...but not worried...I kno it’s my body saying I need a day off...today’s that day...once I recovered Monday from sinuses...Tuesday I started riding to make up for down time...and as always at 4am today as i got outta bed...walked into room where trainer is set up...turned it and flat screen on...setting up to ride like I was gonna...even though my mind was saying come on...get on bike...do 5 miles...my body was saying not to day mister...not gonna fool me with only 5 mile thinking...my body is tired...you got all your getting out of me...I need a rest day...live with it...it’s heck...to have a smart body and mind...that knows when to recover...

Weird dreams again last night while fasting...can’t remember them..but remember when I woke up to tinkle..I was thinking...o chit...that was weird...probably from the dq milk shake I enjoyed yesterday with no guilty feelings...lol....

Took my neighbor a shake as well...he’s had a tia couple months ago...nice neighbor...it’s takin a toll on him....and his wife...

Nicer weather today...well...yesterday turned out nice once the sun popped out and warmed everything up...in 50s today..

Not sure what’s in store for rest of day...to early to tell...

good morning sir. always great to read your posts. have a great rest day. it took me a while before I stopped making a rest day 2 or 3 or a week. 😁 and yes the scale is most likely water from repairs. encouraging to hear your kindness to your neighbor. so many don't see anyone but themselves. I understand it's a weird time. covid really screwed society up and all. but it's those random acts that make everything ok. holding a door. being patient. things that seem like a lost art. appreciate you man. your an inspiration to many of us.

Ty andrew...yes life has changed...we see it more clearly now with covid...to bad it took covid to make alot see the difference in life..and the things happening around them

OK kid at heart, get on your bike, it misses you! It’s time to train, turn off your brain talking you out of it and ride, for it is a chore, and everything seems like a reasonable excuse to put it off. Ride slow and just go a mile or so, that way you’ll get in a habit which takes about 3 weeks and your brain soon will be saying, Let’s Go!! Plus, it helps you sleep better, (maybe better dreams), and boosts your overall mood, and a good start for springtime. GO! 👍👏🌺🌸🌻

Lol....Shrewdness...im 72...but still a kid ..after 4 days and almost 50 miles..my body needs recovery time...just the way it is..thanks for the pep talk...lol

Yes hcb...rest days suck..if i could ride/workout 7/24...wow...would be great..i hate missing a day of riding..makes me feel behind..but the body knows best..
