Preparing for a trip to NYC... my first time there. I leave Thursday afternoon and return Tuesday morning. Going to the gift show and meeting friends from high school.
I am so anxious about leaving the kids... wanting to control things I can't. I want to not worry about them or what their mom thinks needs to happen with them while I am away. MEH. My co dependence is really rearing it's ugly head. (big sigh)
But I really need a break from work and a "steve" trip. And I don't want worry to rob me of the joy of the adventure. Sometimes...being a single parent really sucks.

Enjoy your trip Steve, I have friends that live in new york and they love it there! Wrap up warm because I have seen their snow photos and they say it's the coldest they have had since they have lived there!

Steve you will love it, New York is a very Unique place with so much to see and do, hope you get to experience some of it. Co-Dependence is not a bad thing when it comes to your kids....I think that is a condition of life. Take a deep breath, all will be fine...enjoy.

Enjoy the BIG APPLE Steve, it is an awesome place, so much to see and do but sounds like you are gonna be pretty busy as it is. Grab a great walk in Central Park if you have a chance.
My besties and I are planning a girls weekend this spring for shopping and a show. Can't wait!

Steve, go and have fun...the kids will do fine, after you have raised them to be good, smart, responsible people, and they will do fantastic. It will all be fine and they will make you proud! Enjoy this trip, you've earned it and if things don't go perfectly, then they don't. It won't be the end of the world and when you get back, you can straighten out any wrinkles. And NYC...heaven's man, go strut your stuff, you've woked really hard to make it struttable! Wow, I am jealous! HUGS, and love ya, buddy!
