Good morning!

Phew. What a feast day yesterday!

I feel like I at SO MUCH! :)

It was all on purpose, to kick the weight loss back into gear. I hope it works and that it was worth it. Honestly, it didn't feel all that good. I ate entirely too much.

I had to go OVER my calorie burn for the day, and yesterday turned out to be a surprisingly busy day. My calorie burn for the day was 4,000 calories!

So, I had to be over that, in proper foods, before 7 PM.


I made it, and I am beyond stuffed still at 6:00 AM the next morning. I'm not even gonna look at food or think about food today.

Well, actually, I am. But it's gonna be awesome food.

My boss from the gym is treating everyone out for a Christmas dinner. He's booked a table at a very fancy seafood restaurant. You know, one of those Michelin starred restaurant where you get very little on your plate, but it's an experience in itself.

I was never really a fan of this kinda thing - I like a large, proper meal. But today it suits me just fine. Having totally over eaten yesterday, I just want a small meal. Besides, it'll kick me in gear to do right until our Thanksgiving party on the 29th.

I will still have to do REALLY good on the 29th, as this is just a few days before surgery.

Anyways, seafood - and not too much of it - sounds great.


So what's the damage since yesterday? Well, I'm surprised. Maybe it's because my weight had already fluctuated the day before, but I only gained 500g. I was excepting several kilos.

What's more interesting is that I am WAY down in fluid/muscle, and up in fat.

It's probably the scale that can't figure out what the heck happened!

So, today I am at 84.9, fully bloated and full of fluid. I accidentally put in the wrong weight yesterday, at 84.2. It should have been 84.4. I gained 500g.


Today, I work at the gym. I'm gonna go do my walk today before work, so I'm out the door in about 20 minutes.

I walked EXCESSIVELY yesterday. My fitbit step counter clocked in at almost 24,000 steps. This is also why my calorie burn was a whopping 4,000.

We walked all day. We walk to a furniture store and ordered Temper-peudic (not sure about the spelling) beds! I am so excited to get them! They won't be here until in a week though. We're in a small town, and all they have at the store are samplers, and you pick what you like and they'll order it. Fair enough.

We got an amazing deal. We got the whole thing for half price, very very reasonable. Beds (and everything else) in Denmark are ridiculously expensive, so a good deal is often worth waiting for. And today was the time to strike!


Today, I'm thankful for:
- Wife
- Working at the gym
- Not gaining a lot from Indulgence Day
- Feeling MISERABLE from the binge. It'll be a while before I do that again.
- Maple/walnut flavored morning coffee.

Life is good!
187.2 lb Lost so far: 154.5 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I love the image of the scale scratching it's head, trying to figure out what happened, Keld. Too funny! Have fun tonight. I hope the fu-fu food turns out better than you'd hoped, leaving you satisfied and content (and where you want to be on cals). That surgery is coming soon... what a week or two, no? GOOD LUCK!
