Another pound off. This after some strenuous exercise & serious focus on improving my physical shape & balance.
254.4 lb Lost so far: 82.6 lb.    Still to go: 86.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Wow, I am really impressed by your progress! Do you have any diet advice or tips? I'm always interested to see what specific things motivate my buddies. I can always learn something new.

Thank you. I don't know that my progress is impressive. I get frustrated really easily, but I keep on going. What motivated me most was my doctor's warning ten months ago that I was at the last point when I could defend my health by taking direct action about my weight; he then asked if I had considered bariatric surgery. I thought about it, and decided that rather than a lap band I'd try a diet. I'm doing this by sheer force of will -- and the support of my best beloved. Then, if you look at my weight loss graph you'll notice a sudden dip. That was the result of my nearly dying this summer, since then I've been on an even more restrictive diet and been exercising a lot more; the combination of diet and exercise has had a very positive effect. If I have any tips,the best is to keep yourself busy, it does help if you're doing something because then you're not eating. Also, reward yourself with something that isn't food.
