Good morning!

Yesterday was a great day, if we don't look at caloric intakes. :)

I had a lot of fun, we had great food, and we went to the movies.

Confession: I bought movie candy.

I didn't buy as much as I would have for a "regular" indulgence day of late, but I did give in and had some. Boo.

My total calorie intake for yesterday was WAY more than I had expected - around 3500.

I'll simply consider it my weekly allowed Indulgence Day, even if I didn't plan on having one, and move on. It's not like there is anything else I can do.

A friend and I went to the movies to see the new movie "Gravity". It was great! Wife didn't want to go, as it deals quite a bit with the paranoia of being left alone in space. Scary stuff. This is one of those things that really triggers her, in it's probably a good thing for her to not watch this one. Still, I really liked it.


Today, I'm working at the gym. It's a nice, active day here. Of course, being at work, I won't be ALL that active, other than walking around, doing a little cleaning, etc.

It's gonna rain all day, and was raining all night, so I didn't do my walk. That's okay. The few extra calories burned from it really doesn't make a difference for me. It's all the other little activities that counts. The walk is (almost) entire for mental health.


I feel great today. I think I liked having fun foods yesterday, and even if I am kinda kicking myself today over giving in, I still have no regrets. I just move on.

The most annoying thing from it is that I obviously added some fluid to my weight. I went from 82.5 to 84.3 in one day.

Still, it's the lowest post-Indulgence Day I have had in a long time. I'm fine with it.

I'll compensate some today, and it's all good.


Speaking of compensation...

Since I ate late yesterday, I'm gonna have to pass on lunch today. I still want my 16 hour fast period, in order to NOT mess up anything in today's diet. One thing is that yesterday went bad, today will be picture perfect.

The movie ended at 10 PM yesterday, and counting 16 hours ahead from is at 2 PM. It's almost pointless to break the fast at that time, just to eat dinner at 5 PM as we normally do. I just might wait and simply go for that.


I brought more soup to work at the gym, in case I do get hungry. It's simple vegetable soup, Wife's best, and it'll do minimal calorie damage if I get too hungry and decide to break the fast. I'm pretty sure I won't need it, though. :)


Today, I'm thankful for:
- A fun day yesterday!
- Working at the gym! I like it here...
- Morning coffee!
- Wife!

Life is good!
185.8 lb Lost so far: 155.9 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

Boo on buying the candy but as you say nothing you can do now, so just have to move on. Maybe you could manage a total fast day today? Funny how life bites us in the butt when we are doing so well. Sigh. Stress is a bugger.

Great idea having the soup on hand just in case. I haven't seen the previews for that movie but it does sound freaky. I've often said there is no way I would ever go into space because if any little thing happens you are stranded/screwed!
