Allowed myself my Sunday splurge. Probably better to pick a day that's not right before weigh-in, right? Dropped back to 8-10 8-oz bottles of water a day. I was getting up FOUR times during the night to pee. I am stopping drinking the water about 3pm and just drinking Diet Coke after that (I know, I know, but my sleep was really suffering!) Going to continue with the 1,600 this week. If I don't lose more than 1.5 pounds, I'm going to reduce to 1,400 next week. When that stops being effective, I'll probably switch back to keto for a month or two, because I know I can lose quickly on that. Knowing that I don't have to do it the rest of my life will make it doable. Ankle was all better yesterday morning, PTL! Party for 5-year-old grandson here tonight, so I have quite a bit to do today. Better get crackin'
248.5 lb Lost so far: 10.5 lb.    Still to go: 98.5 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

Good to hear that ankle is doing better. I hear things about the keto diet, I don't really know how to get started. It is one thing that is out there these days that I have not tried to do. Hope some one can shine some light on this for me. Thanks

@ladytanker, the Keto WOE (Way of Eating) is basically just cutting Net Carbs (Total Carbs minus Fiber) and increasing Fat. The theory is that if we aren't eating carbs, our bodies have to burn the fat stored in our bodies. It's not for everybody, but many people have had phenomenal success with it.

Just change weigh in to Saturday. Lol. How much of a calorie deficit do you plan for. I feel like I have to make a big jump. Then again I am not physically active either

@ladytanker I am very new learning keto. I bought Rocco’s keto comfort food. I really like how he explains it and he has stages menus and recipes to lay it out for you
