Goodmorning!

Birthday went without a hitch, almost.

I was well low on calories, and never felt like missing out. I ended the day at 1350 calories out of my 2000 allowance.

After the Saturday party, sleeping late and all, I wasn't really hungry for lunch, so I simply skipped it. I didn't have anything to eat until dinner.

Since I ate past 7 PM on Saturday, this was perfect for me. I managed to get my fasting window large enough to be as always. Win.

The only "health goal" I didn't reach yesterday was my calorie burn goal. I managed to reach 2650 calories of my 2800 goal. It wasn't too bad, but I didn't make it - and as always this annoys me. I like meeting my goals. Still, being 650 calories under my already relatively low RDI, this is no biggie.

...

I am on vacation this week! Yaaaay! This means a nice, quiet week with Wife. We really don't have a lot planned, and we don't want to. I think we both just want to wind down, and find our footing. Stress has been a major player for us, and speaking for myself I really need a break. This week is welcome.

I still have a few things going on, though. I am still teaching tonight, and I still work at the gym Wednesday night. There is no stress factors in this, so I am happy to do it.

...

My weigh-in today? Well, I'm 200 grams down from yesterday. I had expected more, but that's okay. The strange thing is that my scale claims fat% up and water down. I get the water down part, but I don't see the fat going up.

Doesn't matter. It's all good. It's been quite a while - a month - since I was this low on a Monday. The last month is when things have started sliding too much, so I am happy that I feel that I am back in the groove. I just need to keep doing what I'm doing, within reason.

The reason I add "within reason" is of course that I can't keep doing super low calorie days. I can't starve myself to anything.

I will, however, practice the old approach of not eating when I'm not hungry. I will listen more to my body this week instead of eating at scheduled times, as much as I can.

Sometimes I can easily fit my meals in like this, but I also know when it's gonna get me in trouble.

Dinner tonight is a good example of this.

I teach from 3:45 today. It's early, as I have a new client coming and she needs to be introduced to my system.

I then teach pretty much all the way through to 7:15 or 7:30PM.

My feeding window closes at 7PM, so once I am done teaching, there is no option to eat anything. If I want food, it HAS to be before 3:45PM or not at all. This of course requires a little planning.

Today, I am hoping to simply push my time to eat to maybe 2PM or something like that. I don't know if I can, but I will try. I'll just have one large, nice meal, and leave it at that. I don't have all that much appetite these days anyways, so I think it might be accomplishable.

If it isn't, then I'll just have two meals. It's no big deal, as long as the calories don't go too high.

I'm hoping to stick to my plan of keeping Mondays and Wednesdays Low Cal Days for now, so ONE meal today would be welcome. I could easily do a decent meal. We have party food leftovers in the fridge, and I can easily make some good choices from those foods. I would like that as a nice, late lunch/early dinner.

...

As soon as I am done writing my journal, I will go hit the gym. I've been itching to go all weekend, but I need my resting periods too. These are as important as the actual workouts.

So, this morning I'm gonna go.

After I am done, I will meet with Wife and we'll go for the daily 5K walk. I will probably walk a little extra beforehand, in order to fully reach my exercise goals for today. I need those 10,000+ steps, and I need my full 2,800 calorie burn, and then some.

I don't think I'll have any trouble reaching it, but I have to make sure - especially since yesterday's burn was too low.
