Activity is important. I have been doing CICO since I started my weight loss and fitness journey. As it has been simply said here by many members, "do more, so you can eat more." Yesterday and the last couple of days have been rest days. I didn't eat more food. I had less activity and because of that I did not create the deficit I'm able to obtain on my more active days. This weekend is a great example. Yesterday I ate under goal, exceeded my protein goal and because it was a rest day, did not meet some activity goals. The result was that I only had a 520kcal deficit. BF unchanged // BW↑0.8#

I'm a big fan of "eat more, move more." Activity definitely makes it much easier for me to create a deficit. I'd rather walk an hour or run at my max for 15 minutes and cut 200 or 250 calories from my intake, than cut 500 a day, so when I can, I move.

Thanks, LaughingChevre!!! I agree, if given the opportunity to choose more or less food, I'm picking more food. I know that I'm going to have to put in the extra work to eat the foods I like but that's okay...
