Debbie Cousins's Journal, 14 January 2021

Got to move the big weight on the doctor's scale we have from the 250's to the 200's this morning. YIPPEE! My idea of replacing the cashews with water chestnuts in my Cheesy Chicken Risotto went GREAT - I still had the crunch I love, but with 150 fewer calories! I LOVE making brilliant revelations like this. I made a Breakfast Menu of sorts yesterday by entering all seven of my normal breakfasts into the My Favorite Meals section so all I have to do now is select B1, B2 etc., and it enters in all of the foods contained in that breakfast. By giving them all B names, they're all right at the top of my Foods list (so I don't have to scroll all over the place as I would have to do if I entered each by their names. My six meals are: Oatmeal With Raisins & Pecans, Cheesy Eggs with Bacon, Raisin Bran Crunch Cereal, Fried Eggs With Sausage, Atkins Farmhouse Scramble, Spinach Omelet with Bacon, and Flax Muffin Pancakes With Syrup. They range in calories from 270 to 457 in calories. I'll be adding other things to the menu, but SEVEN breakfasts to choose from gives me lots of variety.

Nice work. And thanks for the reminder about water chestnuts. Smart swap for the crunch.

I doubt that the "Favorite Meals" application is available on the phone app. I even tried the "premium" subscription, and there was SO much LESS that you could do on the computer than on the app.

Great idea! I don’t know about Android phones but on my iPhone I can choose web site instead of mobile on Safari browser. Only way I can upload pictures to my journal when I’m at my moms and only have access through my phone.
