I joined a diet challenge with HealthyWage under Debbie Cousins since I had already started on my own. My financial return is low because I have committed to only lose 20 lbs in 6 months whereas she is doing 60 lbs in 6 months. I have put on about 5 sizes in less than a year and a half and made many "false" starts in that time, that didn't last. I'd like to think I am miserable enough with the extra weight that I would have stuck with it this time, but putting some cash in, to bet that I will stick with it is an additional incentive. Plus we each will get a $100.00 bonus. I really had gone too low a year and a half ago: down to 104 because of trying to lose my stomach. Exercise is a real problem for me with my bad back, but even if I can't be toned, I can lose this extra weight. My memory still worries me, so getting off sweets and high carbs will be a help. Yesterday and today I fasted for 18 hours each day to try to kick start the withdrawal from my addiction to sweets.
Our daughter and her husband are recovering from the Covid 19. It will take a while to get their full strength back, but we are so very grateful they are better, with her taking Chemo. She can only think she got it at Walmart or Target. I mentioned that today to my husband's doctor and she said she hears that almost every day. Scary, huh?
131.1 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 18.1 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

I read this awhile back and meant to respond. Anyway I'm so glad to hear your daughter and SIL are doing better and that you've started a new goal!
