We were warm in the car Shirfleur, I drove off to a place where there would be lights when it got dark and then back to the trailer just before he got there. No surprise for him at all, he was beat - as I unpacked he tried to get the trailer heated. I served him chips and guacamole and we both dose off.
I was warm in the car DP, but after so many hours in the car my rump was starting to hurt, good thing I hadn’t loss all my weight yet and still had a pretty good cushion.
I know waiting is hard Becky, but now days it is OK if you have your working phone and your not scared of Bigfoot approaching.
Les, you always crack me up! I want a combination lock for our door at home. It usually is a struggle to open and can cause me to curse like a sailor, probably worse. 😐

Glad you and your pup are safe and warm now. Thank goodness for a warm car and a working phone. Good thing it wasn't in a high crime area. That would be the worst.

glad you made it through. I was on a road trip one night and got caught in a very dense fog in the mountains. narrow road, twisties. I had to pull over and tried to sleep in the car. it was cold and scary, but better than driving off the side of the hill. mostly I sat, shivering until the next morning. 🥶

I am thinking, rather than waiting in the cold for an hour and a half - maybe it would be a use of your time to turn the car around and go for a drive to get that latte but by now, you, your little buddy, and husband are already snug in the trailer, maybe already on your way home and ready to face Monday morning....

Katsolo I too drove up the mountains when it was so foggy I couldn’t see the top of the hood of the car. I followed very very slowly the white line of the road. I was at my turn off which I could barely locate, when I turned I swear I thought I had turned off the cliff. I was so filled with panic and fear, but I was right where I should be - by the grace of the Lord!!!! I then creeped to the trailer and will never never never do that again!!!! I have nightmares still! I will do what you did and sleep in my car for it is better to be freezing cold than dead. You where smarter than me!😁

Skydiverjim that is all I thought about, weighing in on is it worth the drive down the mountain and then back up. Sometimes it can be a hairy drive. Made three wonderful lattes today.☕️😋👍
