remember to add them one kind of fruit at at a time until you are sure that your body can cope with them.

pls take a little time and look them up under FOOD at the top of this page. 1 cup of Watermelon is 11.5g's (9g's of sugar), 1/2 grapefruit is 12g's...strawberries are quite a bit lower, but again check the serving size...typically only 2-3 strawberries sliced. Be sure to get in your salad (2-3 cups) and a cup of a veggie...broc, cauliflower, zucchini, spinich ... be sure to look them up. Or enter them into your food diary ahead of time to see how they add up into your day's totals, in advance of eating them...then you can change the serving size or eliminate something if it's too much.

I'm SO happy that you put my advice to good use! YAY for you, Coach! If you are still in Induction, please know that fruit is not allowable yet (until OWL). You can have most veggies - but stay away from carrots, corn and peas, which are higher in carbs. You can have all sorts of veggies! There is a comprehensive list on the atkins.com site - lists all allowable foods. I have it saved on my PC, if you PM your email address I will be happy to just email it for you so you don't have to "go on the hunt" for it.
