ChicaLean's Journal, 07 October 2013

Ok, so back to the 5:2 diet. I see the benefits of the diet and it is something I am going to stick with. This week I will exercise at least 30 minutes a day. The first day is done and it feels good. I realize if an exercise video or routine is over 30 minutes I mentally cave. So baby steps. I have always been this way. I was the kid that would trick my coach into talking about ways to improve technique for an entire practise instead of completing the actual practise. Me finding an excuse not to exercise will end. Come on discipline! I know you're in there.

Enoda, thank you for the encouragement. I am a first timer but I believe the 5:2 diet is a great fit for me because I used to fast when I was younger. I guess how some people have muscle memory I have fasting memory. So eating healthy and reduced calories for two non-consecutive days is not bad at all. I hope I have some positive results but whatever the results I will post an update. Best wishes!
