Swam yesterday, not going to lie, it was cold. Cold enough that I turned up the thermostat a notch so I will continue to be motivated enough to swim through the winter. 801 strokes, 10.3 METs, average heart rate mid 140's. 11 minutes in cardio, the rest in warm up which is interesting. Wonder if freezing had anything to do with it? Just looked at the watch, says the temp was 65 during my workout. I beg to differ. The second the sun goes down, it's just cold. Looks like I'm only going to hit 10 swims for the month. I did hit my walking mileage goal for the month already, so that's good.

Did some very gentle stretches and exercises for the lower back in the pool. Did okay, feeling it a little this morning, but need to get the flexibility and strength back. Amazing how quickly atrophy sets in, but we'll work on it.

took doggies on a walk with BF again yesterday. I like our walks, I wish they were longer and more frequent. I miss our time we spend together, but as long as we have potential exposure, it's going to be a thing and it sucks. that said, it is what it is, and life goes on.

Sipping on a really good latte I made this morning, added a drop of peppermint oil and it is awesome. Muscle up, fat up, water up. We'll see where it goes tomorrow.

Tree is up, lights going on it today. More stuff to toss if there's time. Didn't get to the deck and I'm out of days off. Hoping for a quiet December so I can get to it before the rain comes.

So just did my first serious plank since i hurt the back. Stopped at two and a half minutes. Not bad given a three month break. I can’t do any curl ups at this point, going to have to build my way back up on those. Kinda wish scans were free because it would be interesting to know what the heck i really did, but all good staying away this year. I’m getting there.
