I eat like a crow:

I don't limit what I eat; only how much.

I don't worry about gaining or losing weight much - my body and mind work well together.

If it smells good, I eat it.

Unless my life is in imminent danger, the feeding must continue - just hop out of the way for a moment if necessary.

If someone tries to take my food away, I scream.

I don't really care what it -- OH CRAP!! THAT CAR JUST TOTALLY RAN OVER JOE!! I wonder what he was eating that was so good he lost his focus... I need to investigate!

(Apologies to any crows named Joe who may have been offended in this fictional depiction)

PS: Is eggnog ice cream a thing?? If so, gimme the deets on where to get it!

Love egg nog ice cream. I think I got it at Target before. I haven't left my house this year. 🤣

I thought Schwann's had egg nog ice cream as one of their seasonal flavor s AND they deliver it to you, but I'm not seeing it on their website this year.

I'm going to bet that I can make this in a blender if I can find some suitable egg nog in the limited places I go. the alternative is to make egg nog from scratch and that is too much work.

The whole time I read it as ‘cow’ and couldn’t understand the crow picture or the friend getting hit. 🙄

Crows are the best ‘spirit animal’ 😉 intelligent, adaptable and highly vocal! 😄

Eggnog icecream is definitely a thing. I have seen several different brands in the bigger named stores— I can’t tell you exactly which ones— maybe Albertson’s, Ralph’s, but only for the Hollidays. I often buy eggnog and make it myself, both regular and pumpkin eggnog. I have three ice cream makers. I am obsessed with making ice cream

And I like to eat crow.... Not really but I remember it was a thing when I was young. A way to be resourceful I think.

Obsessing over this a little now. I'm thinking about making that eggnog yogurt again and then making that into something frozen.

Katsolo— I have dozens of popscicles molds and use them all the time. I make a fudgescicle that rivals anything you can buy in a store. A perfectly portion controlled treat. I have not tried freezing eggnog as is but certainly something I would try. . When I make eggnog ice cream I add about 2 tablespoons of rum to the batter. That helps keep it creamy and smooth without crystallization.

I also thought that said “eat like a cow” and was confused by the bird. Edy’s used to make a really good apple pie ice cream that we would buy around this time. Kat, I was thinking you should totally make your own. My dad makes really goos eggnog from scratch and it doesn’t seem that complicated.

I remember helping making egg nog from scratch as a kid, the boozy kind. one bowl for the kids and a "nasty" one for the grown ups, LOL. it's good to be a grown up. pretty sure that our recipe is from the joy of cooking, which I just happen to have a vintage copy of. I'll have to ration the booze content to keep myself honest though.

Lol, yes!! I remember the same. My dad’s “adult” version had the vodka in it. I might have to make some this year too. 😁

Ooh! How about boozy eggnog ice cream popsicles? 😍

I guess I’m doing one more order from Costco. Heavy cream and whatnot. Booze is already plentiful on site due to having no one over 🤣

Kat, I can help you out with that! 🙋‍♀️🍸

Hold the heavy cream.

Hmm look up homemade ice cream recipes and substitute the milk or cream for egg nog. Should work. Might have to tweak it for flavor though.
