Down a tich but, I think I need to stop while I'm ahead. I've been using food/wine as a pick me up. We went to Costco yesterday & even though we bought lots of healthy options I did pick up some extra snacks. Now, I just need to be sure I eat them in moderation.

We joined our friends at the Winery this afternoon for a couple of hours. We brought some snacks & I was hungry so I ate cheese, crackers, some sausage, some cashew, almond bites & a few chocolate blueberry candies. Not a huge amount but I also had 2 glasses of merlot. If I was being good I'd probably skip wine with dinner....

We did get home in time to get a walk in with the dogs before dinner.

Planning Salmon for dinner. I have some corn on the cob I need to cook. I may cut it off, sauté it & throw it in a salad.

Comments on my food pics often say I must be a good cook. I try to make our meals tasty & appealing to the eye...but, I'm all about the simpler the better. Use a bit of Olive oil, a few spices...throw it in a skillet...or the oven. I love it when Hubby takes over & cooks the meat on the BarBQ. After years of preparing meals, I know what we like & use healthy, fresh ingredients. Just because you want to eat healthy & maintain a healthy weight doesn't mean you can't have wonderful food!
