Don't get discouraged, it might be that you're not watching what you eat like you thought you were. How many of your meals do you make and how many are restaurants/office/etc. stuff that isn't trackable? The information restaurants give on their nutrition information (if they give any at all), is usually way under what you're really being served. Also, what kind of workouts do you do? Are you doing cardio only or are you doing strength training too? You reported this week as diet followed poorly, so don't get discouraged about a small gain. Follow a strict diet/exercise regimen to see if you are really at a plateau or if you are just burnt out and losing focus, which happens when you try to stay strict for months on end. Give it one more week of 100% dedication and go from there. You have made amazing progress and it isn't worth destroying just because of a little fluctuation. That would be like getting rid of your car just because it had a flat tire. Just change the tire and keep on truckin'. You can get through this.

don't be so harsh on yourself. you know where you went wrong this week. you KNOW how and have the POWER to fix things. you need to believe in yourself, and try to think positive. look how far you HAVE come!! maybe its time for tom too??

You are so close. It might take a while to get the rest off, so dig your heals in and keep going. Being healthy and feeling good about yourself is worth it. You can do it.

Keep on going! When you get your shoe stuck in the mud, you have to yank it out, wash it off, let it dry, and continue on! Well, you're a little stuck. But it's not quicksand! And look how far you've come! Yank yourself out! You can do it!

Thank you guys. :) My attitude HAS sucked lately. And all this week they gave us junk food at work. I didn't go overboard with any of it, but I did have small amounts, so I'm sure that didn't help. I will try to be more strict on myself this next week.

As Divided by Zero says above, definitely try to watch your overall calorie intake, in the end it's all calories in vs. calories out. To recover quickly a low calorie day might be in order. A slight gain is no big deal, don't even think about it. Keep up the good work!

The body also plateaus sometimes, and might need an extra metabolic boost to keep burning. That's totally natural, although it is frustrating. Try eating 6 minimeals a day, with at least two food groups (approved low-fat foods of course). To recover quickly you can also push through a tad more cardio throughout the week, I like to think of it as erasing my mistakes. Don't get discouraged, keep going! I read a lot of labels, I like to think of it as my way of "okaying" something before I put it in my mouth. If I'm disgusted by how many fat/calories/sugar is has in it, if I've just read the whole label it's easier to just put it down. If I reach my hand into the Chee-tos before reading the nutrition facts... well, it's all over! :)
