Induction Week 2: Day 1

Well, I made it through my initial week of induction...got into ketosis, began drinking more water, stopped adding loads of salt to my food, added coconut oil for brain health & yeast management, added kefir probiotics for yeast management. I am feeling physically good and I am ready to continue on to the next step...EXERCISE! I often have big plans to walk, swim, jump etc...but due to my condition my muscles will not let me do what I want. I need to remember to go at my own pace and not to try and do what others think that I should be doing. I will try to walk 1 hour AFTER all my energy sapping house & yardwork is complete IF I FEEL GOOD. Things are about to change around here and so am I. Thank you GOD.
244.0 lb Lost so far: 3.0 lb.    Still to go: 44.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Hey Bird Fancier, I'm in my third week of Induction. I decided to stay on Induction to get back into ketosis. My first week was great, and I lost 10lbs. The second week I lost nothing. I stayed within my 20 NetCarb range, but nothing. I was writing everything down in a journal and compared the two weeks and noticed, that the second week I didn't eat the raw vegetable that I did in the first week. So I went back and read the Induction rules again, and decided to stay on for another week to see if I get back into ketosis. Since Monday I have lost almost two pounds. So don't do what I did and skimp on those raw vegies. L.Cain

Hi Bird Fancier, good going for the week. Exercise is always a hard call if you struggle with physical activity, makes someone like myself grateful not to have any restrictions other than fatigue. Also a good point and about going at your own pace, think we do try and meet expectations of others ideas.

Thanks Lacain57 & Missnaughty for your support! I like to eat one meal raw veggies and one meal cooked. It's funny how i used to consider watermelon or ice cream for a treat...but now I REALLY look forward to my baby greens salads! DELICIOUS! Let's do this ladies!
