DP, awesome drop! Is that three in a row? 💪🏻💖

Haha- I have no idea, NNWD. I'm so fucking fat- I have a hard gain and then drop 3 days in a row. It really gets the FS crowd worked up. The most I have tracked is how many days I have been in the 170's and I think it is close to a week- but then I lose it and I'm up again. I can't get exctied about anything until I see 175 on the scale or less and that's probably not gonna happen anytime soon at this rate. At least I lift every day so hopefully any surplus is going to gains of muscle more than fat. IDK how it all works. Shoot- this is a long response. I think I got used to writing messages to Melissa and I'm stuck in novel mode.

DP, I love novel mode - I oftentimes get stuck there myself. 😂 Dude, you are NOT fat. Weight does not determine physical fitness! You all told me that when I first joined and was getting all hung up on the fluctuating lbs every day. We all saw your amazing progress in the last pic you posted. You are looking so lean and fit and that’s due to your hard work with seriously lifting again. When was the last time you took your measurements? I’m sure they’ll show progress even if the scale has been weird. Muscle weighs more than fat, but looks so much better! I should know. I’m losing all this water weight now, which is cool, but the lack of consistency with my diet and exercise is starting to affect my progress, so I’m seeing myself get kind of scrawny and “skinny-fat”. Hate it!! You’re awesome, though, just keep going! Focus on the big pic. 💖 I lowkey love how people get riled up and excited when you post. 😆

Chris, you need a new jog! A driver who can not tell arrow directions or colors... Well, pretty darn scary! 😬 Cheering for 175, Princess! ❤️ It's coming! No pop tarts in the cupboard means... Oh right, there are always Diablo doughnuts... Shoot. 😁

LOL- Melissa- I bought a whole friggin box of poptarts and ate 2 so far today. Actually- I am pretty well in control- always room for poptarts. NNWD- I measure every month. I will remeasure on the 1st. It is hard to measure with loose skin- which is gross to talk about and you have no idea what I am dealing with. I can measure my waist at 33" or 29" depending how tight I pull the tape measure because of the skin. :( So I have to make notes and try to remember how tightly I pulled it and find a middle ground where I can breathe, but the tape measure isn't too loose. Christopher- Are you implying my drop is from muscle loss? You turd. My gym sesh's are crazy good these days. Just because I stopped writing what I am lifting doesn't mean it aint gettin lifted. 💪🏻😄

I hear you, DP! I had loose skin after I lost a bunch of my pregnant belly weight, so I can imagine it’s frustrating after a major loss. It’s not gross, just a by-product of losing a whole adult person worth of weight, which is so awesome! 💪🏻💖

Lol “turd” 😂 you guys are so sweet

I have the same issues with the tape trying to remember how tight I pulled it. LOL Some skin for sure and probably worse for me as I am older and thus less flexibility. So good on you for dealing with this now and have a chance of it tightening more. Also very cute profile pic!!!!!

Thanks, Liv! I was super duper obese so- only so much I can do without surgery. Glad you understand the tape measure issue though I can't even picture you with an ounce of loose skin!

Yay for DP! ⭐👏

DP my “sista from the otha mista”. Loose skin, tape measure, struggle of staying below 180 for more than a week, lifting and muscle gains.. Yeah, that’s what’s up... But giving up isn’t an option so there is that. I’d like to get to 165 but the extra skin all added most likely weight a good 5-8lb so how would that even work? 🤷‍♀️ Keep doing what you do. It is working. But yeah no no more pop tarts today 😂

Thanks Swedish! I know! I think gosh...without the skin, I'd be at goal...or if I had only been 220 instead of 300 pounds, there may have been hope. Yes - no more pop tarts...today. There's always tomorrow though. 😋

Hey. Just my dumb opinion. Sorry. But that skin is a trophy of victory. My wife hates her stretch marks and huge belly and all the grey hair but that body gave us 4 beautiful kids. Just a thought. Love you. I know your man does.

And thats love you as in you love you. Not like a creepy thing sorry. Written sounded weird.

Who couldn't love you Chris. Your like one of those cute hairless Chihuahuas. Lol.

As I read that I was thinking- WTF- Now he LOVES me? Slow down, buddy- but then I caught on. Yeah-no thanks- I don't like embracing gross stuff as a victory but I'd rather have the loose skin than have it filled with fat. I'm also sure Diablo would be happier if I didn't have it. Yes- he loves me regardless- but given the choice- LOL- Just like I still love him when he gets the chub back- but I like his body very much the way it is now. Chris-😆 You wish. I've seen your supposed fat.

Keep pedaling DP - I estimate I have about 3-4 lbs of loose skin and it can be a heck of time trying to assess increase in muscles mass AND losing inches. I "think" I lost half an inch on my hips, but get a bundle of skin caught in there and it can bounce right back to the 32 inch mark. Measuring my waist is no different. And, calipers? Oh my lamb!!! My mom assessed if we removed the weight of the loose skin from the equation I would likely weigh around 109-110 lbs! But, it does start to fill out. In fact, It's really been in the past year that I've seen muscle genuinely fill up some of that space. At first, I was freaked out and thought "am I gaining", but the upper and lower abs are firm to the touch even if I'm not flexing core muscles. Even with that said - I still wear a compression top to smooth out the edges. And, yes I rather the loose skin than adipose any day of the week. If anything, it reminds me of what this body has gone through to accommodate my whims and keeps me dedicated. You're doing fine, just continue to focus on strength and conditioning and energy in vs. energy out. A novice doesn't get this far...you're doing beautifully.
