No time to worry about what's going on this morning.

My ankles are as wide as my thighs and my bra doesn't fit my moobs anymore... I'm guessing water?

Gotta run to the gym to fight through this headache! 🤒

LOL-you definitely know it's water if the ankles are swollen. Although I have to confess, I have not received the benefit of water retention in my chest. Hope springs eternal. I'm up 4.6 lbs in water and well my boobs are still pre-teen...shakin' my head.

Ahh kind of jealous of you super fit people and your surplus days! I’m over here weighing out my cherry tomatoes and diluting my sauces like a weirdo. Enjoy every morsel, I know it’ll be great. I foresee ice cream in your future. I know you need to reload your gym weapon also! 💪🏻✨ But for real though, I could really go to town with a double the cals budget. 😍 First on the menu would be pizza! All those Friday pizza posts yesterday had me shook! 😅

NewnameMM, if you had a higher cal day every couple weeks, it might work out for you. Sometimes it seems to work out pretty well. It can seem like a struggle for a couple days to get back down, but I've sometimes found I dip lower a few days after giving my "diet" a short break. It give extra energy and seems to confuse my body! 😁

Melissa, thank you, love, I’m going to look into that! How many cals extra would you allow yourself on these extra days? I’m thinking that once I’m working out more regularly and am in maintenance stage, I can do something like that so I can still eat all my favorite foods and not hold back. Like, no, I can’t just have one slice of pizza, I just can’t. 😆

You are very close to your maintaining, but I didn't wait until I reached goal. I suspect I often had almost double my allotment of calories every couple weeks. I've heard, but I don't actually know, that keeping things a bit unstable and not always having the same level of calories keeps the body guessing a bit. I am certain Chris or others on this thread know a whole lot more than me.

Melissa, I think I have read the same thing! I’m definitely going to look into this. I don’t want to be too strict forever. And honestly, it’s crazy that I am so close. Doesn’t seem real!! Thanks love. 💖

sounds like you have an electrolyte imbalance. grab some "snake juice." Most likely your potassium is low. that will cause headaches and water retention. we are supposed to have like 4500mg a day.
