Good morning!

Wow. What a weigh-in!

It's not like I didn't know this would happen, but it's still wild!

I'm up 5.3 kilos since I weighed in Friday! LOL!

It's been a grand weekend, and I am SO glad I saved up calories for it. it's been food, food, food all the time, and it even carried on into yesterday.

I'm at work, so I won't get too much into all the details, but trust me - it's been an awesome weekend.

We had the chili night Friday. So much fun.
We had the Bakken amusement park Saturday. BBQ lunch, ice creams, sushi dinner. It was bound to go bad.
And yesterday, Wife and I went for a nice summer walk as since summer has finally hit Denmark. Wife wanted brunch, and who am I to argue that, right? :)

Anyways, the kilos are piling up, and it's time to fix it again!

Of course, as always, most is just water, post-Indulgence Day traumas, and some WILL be a fat gain, but not all that much.

I'm on track. I'm NOT afraid of reaching goal - I have it as my mission. But first mission is back to 80 kilos. Let's do this THIS week.

I'm gonna stick to my new plan - my "8 hour window" way of eating. It's really sitting well with me.

I did skip breakfast every single day through the weekend. Actually, it's been weeks since I've had breakfast, and I don't miss it. I like not being focused on food all morning. It's 2½ hours until my lunch break today, and I am in no hurry to get there.

I don't feel that I get more hungry for lunch or dinner. Of course, that's easy to say coming out of three(!) Indulgence Days in a row. :)

However, it truly doesn't feel like I ate more than I would have done after having breakfast. So it makes perfect sense to not eat breakfast for me.

...

I went to the gym this morning, and I walked for an hour before that.

I have decided that I NEED to go to the gym in the mornings, as I just don't feel that I benefit from the afternoon workouts in the same way as I do in the mornings.

I will still encourage Wife to go in the afternoons as planned, I'll just go and do cardio instead, giving the muscles a little rest. It'll be fine, I think. I can use some cardio right now. :)

...

Working out on an empty stomach felt great. I can totally see what Mike O'connor is talking about in his "2 meal solution" e-book. A cup of coffee is all I needed to get moving, and I worked out harder and more efficient than I have done in a long time. It was great.

I now leg press at the max level the machine can offer. I am at 173 kilos! I gotta say, I feel pretty good about that. I have several machines that are getting up there. I also do level 16 (of 18) on a few others, abs being one of them.

...

Today, I have nothing out of the ordinary planned. I am not counting on much happening other than a quiet day at work, and then my weight loss classes.

Several stopped last time, so I need to re-sign them up today. Let's see how many show up! I think I get 4 out of 5 of them signed up again, though I know one will wait a couple of weeks, as she's going on vacation. That's fine.

Lunch and dinner will probably be pitas. I'll be low on calories, but have had plenty of food, good and healthy. It's basically a pita bread with lettuch and ham. It's clean and neat, just like I like it.

I could use a super low cal day, so it would fit me just fine to not get side tracked and to not have stupid calories along the way. I can do this. No bad stuff today, or the rest of the week for that matter.

...

Wife and I are both hoping for a quiet weekend this week. We REALLY don't want to have anything going on, as it all seems to involve food this time of year. The sun is finally out, and everyone wants to barbeque and eat ice cream. No more of that, please. :)

...

I will, however, enjoy the summer weather, and try to spend more time outside. The weather is simply amazing today, and yesterday was actually the first time this year that I was outside with no jacket. I seem to always be cold after I lost weight. This is the only major downside to losing weight. I'm cold, cold, cold.

...

Today, I'm thankful for:
- A fun weekend! No real weight gain, as all calories were saved up and accounted for (except yesterday, but I still think I managed to be under my "burn" for the day. Just no loss either).
- On track today and onwards.
- Summer is here! Summer is here! ...and about damn time!
- Morning coffee to get me going today!
- Morning workout! I feel GREAT!

Life is good!

Yep, you knew you would have to pay the piper and now you are right back on track. I love it. Good for you. Glad you had so much fun on the week-end. That should keep you going mentally if you have a couple of low cal days to help you shed the party weight. Also good for you for realizing the best time for you to exercise and get the most out of it. And doing a little extra cardio while wife does her work out can only aid her process and yours :) Enjoy that awesome summer weather (without the icecream :).

It is so cool that you support your wife in her workouts too. I'm impressed and it probably means the world to her. Good for you getting back on track.

I can skip breakfast with no problem on the weekends, but during the week when I'm off to work early, I'm starving in the morning and feel like I need to eat breakfast. I think its the extra hour or 2 of sleep I get on the weekends that helps me skip breakfast. This week I'm going to try to make eggs for breakfast every day before work. I love reading your posts by the way :)

Thanks, skirch97. I appreciate the kind words. Skipping breakfast is a habit, I think. I used to think it was a bad habit, but I am really seeing some benefits from eating this way. MANY benefits. How it'll be down the road is too early to say, but so far I'm intrigued. :)

Welcome! My hubby is able to do this, his first meal is usually between 12 and 1, he never eats breakfast, just never has. It would save a lot of calories by skipping breakfast. I'm going to have to play around a bit more with this!
