Planned on long walk and swim to cool down. only got the long walk in because I ran into some people and we started talking and you know how it goes... but was good to know that other humans still understand the sounds that come out of my mouth when we've all been locked up for 172 days. They also happened to be neighborhood friends but I was focusing on being overly dramatic there in case you didn't notice. Still got in 4.9 miles with the dogs so all good.

There's a lot of watermelon still sitting in my fridge, going to have to charge hard to finish it before the week is up. The spinach is already going bad which is super annoying, it should last a week, if not close to two most of the time. I won't touch it past a certain point. I'll just eat watermelon this week. Maybe make a smoothie from some of the not yucky leaves. I hate to be wasteful, but I just can't even tolerate the smell when it starts to go. Now, I'm thinking I could make it into concentrate for smoothies since it should heat up this month. Toss them in the freezer. Something to work on tonight.

Sounds like a good visit with your friends. I would definitely toss in the freezer if it's a good tasting one. On the spinach, have you tried putting some paper towels in the container with them? I put some on the bottom and top and it seems to help it not go bad as quickly. Have a great day

My watermelon is delicious, and I'm getting there. Not eating it for breakfast though. I hate breakfast in general and two eggs is pretty much all I care for. Might hold off on ordering food until Monday. I usually pick through the bag spinach when I get it and put in two containers with paper towels, but this bag was abused when I got it. Lot of broken leaves, etc. Annoying, but I think Costco only charges $5, so not worth giving the person a bad review. I wish I could send comments to them. You have a great day, too!
