I'm still hanging in at 122.2lbs, although I'd like to get up a few pounds, but I want it to be more muscle. I'm still working out every day have added a few different moves to my repertoire, which has resulted in some great changes. I'm also doubling down on core strength, and concentrating on hip flexibility and range, as my left hip has been giving me grief the last year or two. Since starting this routine I've noticed that I have no more constant, nagging aching...! I've added a good quality protein powder shake in addition to my regular vitamin and collagen supplementation. Here's a hint for those struggling with sleep issues - one unexpected side effect of collagen supplementation is better sleep! I think that's my favourite side effect as I really haven't noticed any improvement to skin, hair or nails (sorry...). But you will sleep like a baby!

So the temporary layoff I was placed on back in March turned into a permanent layoff come the end of May. So - I'm looking for a job in a market that has - no jobs. There was an opening a couple of weeks ago that I threw my hat in for - Indeed came back and reported that this posting received 1,086 applications. 1,086 applications. What the actual fudge...

But - I try to stay positive. That's all I can do. The summer is here, the weather is gorgeous (rain is gorgeous), and I'm trying to enjoy it every day! My routine is a workout first thing in the morning, shower, job hunt, and get outside for a good long afternoon walk in the river valley. Who knows when I'll get the opportunity to enjoy a summer to myself like this again?
