Day 3 of a planned 3 days of ‘water fasting’

I have been fasting for over two years, but, what I learned this time around is that apparently I can have as much fat as I want (I am adding heavy cream to my coffee and Green Tea), and *still* get the same rate of loss as my 'pure water only' fasts in the past.

I doubt I have burned much fat in only two days. This loss is the 'water weight' that is lost when my glycogen is depleted, but, that is one of the steps required for me to even start burning any fat.

I am off for a 5 mile 🏃🏾‍♂️ run. In my present state, that should cause my body to demand glucose, and for my liver to start producing it from its fat stores because, since I have taken in no dietary carbs or protein, it has-no-other-options 👍🏾

Tonight I break the fast (ribs!) but, I am back on it for Thursday and Friday.

@Liv001 - I am so sorry it is raining for you :( You will get to run again soon! 👍🏾 - Yeah it is nice to see 179 again (it has been a long time). However, I "mentally" must eat today because that is what allowed me to "hang on". But, one meal, hopefully, will not get me too far off track...

6 Lbs in 3 days. Way to go. I need to mix it up. I didn't succeed with fasting this week and need to get back on my fasting horse. Great job bud!!!!

@Mistybenner, @Chesgreen - Thanks! Yeah 'fasting' with heavy cream is way easier than just 'pure water'. I just wish I could just stick to the diet 7-10 days at a time like I did 2 years ago...
