Last day of laziness. Going to the gym tomorrow for the first time in 3 stinking months! I haven't even touched a dumbbell in about 6 weeks.

I'm hoping I have the same "oh, how I've missed it" experience as many others and it isn't overshadowed by "I forgot how bad pain feels" 😜

I'm so excited though! My new plan is only 2 days a week of full body work (about an hour) and gradually picking that up to 4 days.

I can't wait! Today is all about my little trees though, soooo.......... ❤
152.0 lb Lost so far: 6.0 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Alrighty!!!! 😁 Have fun! I'm feeling inspired to do something... Well, perhaps the word is "pressured!" 😁 Sounds like you have a workable plan! Be safe, man! I bet you'll feel like your old self quickly... After all the pain! 😁

You are one dedicated dude to your fitness, so I imagine this was a super good mental and physical break. It isn't like you haven't been working your muscles! Just different irregular things. I feel like I can handle two things at a time... I need to do three... Cardio, eating in deficit, weights... I've been managing the first two pretty well lately, so I am a bit nervous to start up the weights. I'm not good at balance. 😁 Gonna do it though... Today! No snipping on little trees for me! I'm gonna work out! 😁

We had the “oh how I missed it” experience but is followed by the “I forgot how bad this hurts” experience. 😂

It is so fucking fun... I hope you love it again. Day 6 for me in the books! Feeling amazing! 💗💪🏻 Yes- I am sore everywhere. The new gym has a lat pullover machine or whatever its called and I am still feeling it from 4 days ago.

U got this! I'll be looking to you, Diablo, and DP for advice again soon! I went back last week and love it. Feels so good to get that burn from heavy weights. I did still workout 4 days a week while in quarantine but it's not the same!

I'm missing the gym too. I'm in a high risk group so I'm going to be cautious. I haven't heard from PF either. I do know that I'm not going to go heavy when I do return. I plan to go with lighter weight and higher reps. I'm going to take a few weeks to observe things before I return...

Good luck to you. I am planning to go on Thursday. I'm sure I will be sore for a few days as well but no pain no gain as they say. They will be taking our temperatures first thing too.

even a 30 min walk is all you need. baby steps man. consistent daily movement all you need. maybe just do air squats or pushups every commercial while watching TV

I already feel as strong or close enough that it's negligible. Except the leg press at this gym is unbelievably heavy.
