Up just shy of half a lb., but I don't hate it 😊 Consumed almost 2000 calories yesterday, but I'm still averaging just over 1700 for the week.Salmon for dinner tonight, so unless I go crazy 😲 somewhere else I'm good.

I spread mulch on our 2 gardens at the side of the house, in front of the garden shed & on the veggie garden yesterday. Still need a couple more bags & then I think I'm really done. Ever try to spread mulch around plants & tiny seedlings without stepping on them? A lot of bending & moving around like a contortionist 😊 A bit of a workout.

Afterwards, I got showered, put on makeup, did my hair & dressed for a real outing to somewhere fun! We met our friends at a local Winery about 10 minutes from our house. It wasn't too busy & we were able to arrange seating under a pavilion....distanced a bit apart & enjoy the guitarist/ singer performing. He said this was his first gig in a couple of months. We really enjoyed him. We brought snacks....a Honeycrisp apple, some cheese & Chex snack mix to eat with our bottle of wine. That was actually lunch. Our friends were ordering Wings at a favorite pickup place so we decided to do that, too. Ordered a large salad & a small order of fries on the side. I ate 5 wings & gave Hubby the bigger portion of fries. I was full but not uncomfortably so. It's nice to be able to indulge a little and know I can go back to my "Normal" eating the next day.

No big plans today. I may try to alter a couple of pairs of my Summer pants so I can wear them. They're not meant to be fitted...one is a fun silk print the other a linen drawstring pant. I think if I move the button over and cinch in the tie belt & drawstring they'll work with a more fitted top. My friend said I should get rid of any of the stuff that is too big now. I agree to a point, but I can't afford all new clothes & these are a couple of favorites.

It's a warm, sunny day with a light breeze....sitting on the back deck finishing my 2nd cup of coffee. The wrens are up to something & making a lot of noise 😊 Guess I need to get moving....

That sound like such a lovely time. On the clothes front, do you have a good resale shop near you? I picked up a couple of things that are like new to tide me over. Might be worth a try

Sounds like a lot in one day! So great you can get out and see people and have some tasty treats. I second what tatauu said. I had to replace everything I own last year... Or dig out clothes from 10 or 15 years ago, which mostly I ended up getting rid of because of the styles. I'd be nearly naked without Value Village! I can't wait until it opens again. I need some shorts!

The resale shops in the town where I live are more thrift stores where they sell stuff people donated from their basement 😐 There are a few further away I could check out. My Granddaughter works at Plato's Closet in Dallas. I may check them out whIle I'm there. I'm not exactly naked. I have several pairs of Jeggings (my pant of choice) in basic colors. I'm just dissapointed some of my favorite more novelty items don't fit. Some were actually too small & now they're too big.

I worked in Retail selling ladies fashion for many years so I was spoiled 😊 Lots of clothes! I bought 3 t shirts at Kroger today while we were there. They were 40% off so very affordable. Basic styles but I can use jewelry & scarves to dress them up.

Plato's is very nice, and my girls and teen boys find a lot of stuff there. But, I do find the thrift stores here to have good selection. Maybe my standards are low! 😁 Actually, I think they get supplied by Amazon and Google and Microsoft folks cleaning their closets. 😁 If I'm in a pinch now, I'm thankful I can borrow clothes from my daughters... And, of course, there is absolutely no where to go for me but the grocery or garden store, so not a soul cares what I look like there! I am hoping to go to a restaurant for our anniversary next month... But I don't know if they will be open even then.

And... Even though some favorite items don't fit, isn't it a wondeful trade off!??? 😁 Yay for shrinking!

Melissa, I'm thrilled to be a smaller size for so many reasons! Looking & feeling better is a great tradeoff. I hope you're able to celebrate your anniversary in a resteraunt. The resteraunts here are able to open with restrictions. Some are doing it slowly. We're still being selective with where we go. I spend most days in comfy clothes but going away for a week might require a little more effort 😊
