I'm one of those people that puts on her gardening gloves to quickly pull a few weeds & hours layer has....pulled weeds, pruned several bushes, straightened up more in the garden shed, transplanted some bee balm, cut some flowers for a vase in the house, brought a fern from inside & rearranged some outside hanging plants, & found a garden flag & put it out in the garden 😀 That would describe my day. It's a little cooler, but perfect for working. It started drizzling so I figured it was time to quit.

Leftover burgers planned for tonight's dinner.

I love yard work- Though Saturday kicked my ass. My glutes are still recovering from bending over all day and pulling weeds and such. It was like I did deadlifts for hours. And then I planted a bunch of flowers- only to have to bring in all the containers and put them on my sun porch because its dropping into the 30's all week. :( Pisses me off but I can't take the chance of them dying after spending the money I spent. I bet your yard looks beautiful!

Sounds like you ladies have gotten a lot of work done! I am so incredibly glad that this lock down thing didn't happen in the winter... Sorry, Princess, I know it is seeming like winter for a bit longer there. If we were all trapped inside and not able to garden, it would be extra miserable and hard to get exercise.

Melissa, I have said more than once I'm thankful this happened during warmer weather. I would have been so depressed if I couldn't be outside. And, I probably wouldn't be able to resist the snacks if I was sitting around watching too much TV. DP, we are getting a couple of nights in the mid 30's. I may have to drag my pots inside & cover up a couple of plants. I have so many perennials it would be hard to protect all of them. I haven't spent this much time working in my yard in a couple of years. I'm happy I have the stamina & inclination, cause I'm loving the results.
