Good morning, Friends!

Whew. Yesterday was a weird day.

I stayed home from work, just exhausted - and feeling kinda strange. I think it was a mess of a lot of things, just good old fashioned wear and tear.

First of all, I had just gone through the busiest ten days in my life. Work is a little stressful, and starting working at the gym, along with jam nights and fun until late at night just did me in.

On top of that, we have a cat in heat (if anyone wants to borrow her for a week, let me know!), and I didn't get enough sleep.

This combined with the fact that I had 4 Low Cal Days while doing all this, probably caused it.

I didn't intend on having 4 Low Cal Days - it just happened.

So, realizing all this, I simply pulled a day out of the calendar, and didn't count a single calorie yesterday. I just enjoyed the day.

I started off eating reasonably well, but ended up binging on stupid stuff - ice cream and cake. And as much as it was deliscious, it was a dumb move.

My body, however, is happy today. Maybe I did need it. Maybe I did need a day off from it all. I don't know. I feel better, and I am on track again today, as I am supposed to be. I have no intention of doing anything that is NOT okay today, tomorrow or any other day any time soon.

The weight is obviously up further today, at 83.3 kilos. It's nothing to worry about, but I feel it. I can tell that I'm not light on my feet as I like to be. I could tell at the gym that I had to work harder than usual. Not good.

Still, it'll be fixed in a few days. I just gotta do well.

I hope I will be doing a Low Cal Day on Sunday, as the next one. This brings me back on schedule, and that'll have to do.

I tend to want to do MORE, but it really isn't necessary, and I probably shouldn't do MORE in the first place. It hard enough getting the needed calories as it is.

So, today is catch up day at work. I have a ton of paper work that I need to do, and I'm gonna dedicate to that.

Tomorrow is a national holiday, so there will be no work. Also, the Jobcenter is closed on Friday, so I don't need to go in unless I'd like to. I might. We'll see. Also, I might not. LOL. It depends on my mood.

My weight loss class is going amazingly well. The group - 8 people - lost 6 kilos this last week. Not bad at all. They now have a total loss of 16 kilos in 4 weeks. The goal is 50 kilos in 13. They're well on their way.

I am seriously considering opening another class. There is pretty high demand now - more and more people are talking about it, and more and more people want to start up. I have 6 people on my "waiting list", and I think I can make it all fit into two teams of 7 or 8. It's PERFECT.

I get a lot of compliments on my looks these days. It's interesting, as I don't really change weight - but I think my look is changing significantly. I can definitely see and feel a change in my muscles. I look a lot more FIT than I have ever done before. I'm starting to really have that "V" shape, that I never thought I should ever have. I can tell that I am stronger and have a lot more stamina than ever before. It's incredible. Such an awesome feeling. I truly feel that I can conquer the world. This probably is also a reason that I had to give in yesterday. I probably bit off more than I could chew. Also literally. :)

Another big change in looks is of course that I don't wear glasses any more. I like the contacts, at least this far. I have had them for about a week now, and they don't really give me any issues, other than maybe watching TV.

I have bi-focal lenses, and there will always be some compromises regarding how great my eye sight will be at different distances. Right now I feel that I see just fine at close-ups like my phone and computer, and far away. However, watching TV is kinda blurry - and this bothers me. I am very particular with picture quality, and I would hate to lose this. This can, however, be solved with the addition of TV glasses, if I can't get used to it. Again, we'll see.

Today, I'm thankful for:
- Feeling better.
- Being on track, and doing well.
- Wife being a sweetheart yesterday.
- NOT the cat. :/
- Two days (well, maybe one) off from work.

Happy Wednesday!
Life is good!

I got multi focal in one eye (contacts) so reading and distance adjust - no blur. Just a suggestion because that blur definitely made me feel 'off'.

I don't really feel "off" like that. I think for now it's simply a matter of adjusting the feel of it, and the strength.

Life is great! Hard work and consistency pays off, you are cashing in on it. Proud of you keld for taking the necessary steps to make a difference in your life. You have chosen consciously to be fit and happy, job well done. Have a great one.

Thank you for the kind words, Bluecreme. It takes (or at least, took for me) quite a while to mentally get to the place where you are ready to go exercise and get fit. When you weigh 360 lbs, exercise might as well be something on Mars. Now, however, is a whole different story.

WOW! Congratulations on your class! I remember just a little while ago you were hoping to get more people, and now you have a waiting list! Good for you. I'm sure people can see how passionate you are about living a healthy lifestyle and having fun while at it and that is what makes them want to join (and talk about it to their friends)! By the way, I love my contacts. I never like exercising in my glasses as they tend to fog up or slide down my nose. Contacts are a great investment! :) And.... good luck with your cat... been there before...

You must have needed that day of rest. Good for you for taking it! You do SO MUCH and run circles around most of us. You deserve a break. I have the same contacts and I only wear them when I dress up because of that lack of clear vision in certain situations.

Good going. I can't deal with a screeching cat. My dog she's fixed. But she has been restless the past week or so as the weather has been nice and she can see the trees outside the window where I moved. I need to get to the gym, but I have constant tiredness from mental health meds. I don't have any get up and go till the evening...

It is great too that you have so much energy, mine is GONE. I need to start working out with your attitude and get moving more often too.

GlennM, you have to get moving, by any means necessary!
