Katsolo's Journal, 15 April 2020

Three 20oz bottles of water yesterday. It's warmer, so I intend to meet or beat that today. Speaking of which, roasted beets planned for dinner along with sliders because I'm craving steak the last two days which usually means my iron is low. Yesterday's swim was so good. I think today will be a pyramid set from 1-4 and back down until the timer runs out. If it stays warm, might do bubbles after I walk the dogs.

New boots got here. They're too pretty. Like might be going back to the store because they're too light and will get dirty too fast and the arch is just a little off. Waiting for pair #2 to arrive and I will test them side by side to see if I want to keep either of them. Installed some fancy suede heel inserts in my old boots where the foam once was. They held up to three miles last night, we'll see if this is a workable solution. No (new) blisters, but I could feel them. I might also try getting a couple new pairs of middleweight cotton socks to see if that fixes the problem. BF is telling me to let go and just pick a pair of new boots. Aren't you glad you aren't part of this process although I'm sure it is amusing in small bits.

Does your doctor check your iron level every time you crave meat?

Not every time, but I’ve been anemic in the past. I just need to follow that craving and if that fixes it, we’re good, if not, I’ll tell them when I go in again. I crave red meat every once in awhile.
