Bouncing down. And yet another flawless autumn day. I'm getting spoiled.

We ate our usual breakfast of oatmeal with stewed peaches and raisins out on the deck this morning. It was chilly -- about 60 degrees or so. Those were the Idaho peaches -- a little more tart than the sweet homegrown ones we're used to, but still delicious.

Mr Coco has to work all day, and I haven't planned lunch yet. We have butternut squash and rattlesnake beans that need to be cooked soon, and avocados, tomatoes, and figs that could be plated up as is. I'll be going to my friend's house for our usual bbq/Mad Men night. I think I will have a half bbq plate with slaw. That won't be too splurgy.

1:30pm Mr Coco decided to come home to make butternut squash soup. Nothing smells better than a simmering stew pot of rosemary, onions, and pancetta. Heavenly!

4:50pm Just bit into a honeycrisp apple for my snack. OMG, better than candy!

Hey COCO, good Sunday morning to you. You sure painted a pretty picture of your Idaho outdoor breakfast :) Sounds lovely. Here is Sacramento, we have wispy clouds, a nice cool temp with lots of sunshine in store for us today. Bingo was for cash prizes and the pots can go as large as $1,000 but it was a bust last night unless you count laughter then you could say we had big winnings! TOWANDA!!

Hi Lisa! Aw... sorry you didn't hit the jackpot last night, but glad you had fun. I'm actually not in Idaho -- I'm in Alabama, so I was surprised that Idaho had peaches at all -- much less GOOD peaches! Sounds like we're sharing the same beautiful weather. It puts me in such a great mood! Hope you have a lovely day too. :)

COCO, I must re read your entry as I got the impression you were in Idaho lol. At the time you mentioned the Idaho peaches my thoughts were on our buddy Moose, and I wondered if you knew her lol? Now, Alabama is also a place I have never been so vicariously through you I get to spend a lovely morning underneath the Southern skies. TOWANDA!!!!!!

LOL I'm a world away from Idaho! I did visit a friend there in the 1980s and thought it was really beautiful. My state has some beautiful scenery as well, but it's hot and humid too many days out of the year. That's why I'm loving this cool dry spell we're having now. It's a rarity!
