Hi RH, don't let despair take away your right to be healthy. I hear you about your issues, I have "bad" knees and also indigestion. I used to take Nexium but for some reason I am seeing a Naturopath and I am off the Nexium for a while, trying some other stuff. I think being overweight is a factor in our indigestion but until we lose it we won't know for sure. I hope you can find a good product for your arthritis pain, I know its very difficult to exercise when you aren't feeling great. I am a terrible procrastinator for exercise, even walking. I hate exercise, I hate to sweat, but I know I gotta do it just haven't done it yet. Just wanted to give you a wee bit of encouragement, to keep going, to find something that works for you. I am a lazy hound as well - aren't we our own worst enemies? You are worth it, you are so worth it, and think how good you will feel with all that weight off. You won't hurt as much, you won't have as much indigestion. I keep waiting for all that to kick in, I've lost some, have a lot more to go, but the knee pain and indigestion is still there. I have faith though. Together, with all our FS buddies, we can do this. You go girl. Hope your day is good. One meal at a time, right?

RestlessHope, just take that picture of the swim suit out. Heck, take the suit out, and put it on, and take another picture to see the difference the weight you've already lost makes. You can do this, I know you can. Getting sick can be so hard, and can really throw you off, but now you know that you still must stick with your lifestyle. It is so hard to get back on track when you've fallen off, but that's we are all here for. Support and motivation. Get rid of all the bad stuff in the house, stock up on the Atkins friendly foods, and get back on track. The good ting about all this is that you didn't wait until you had regained all your hard fought losses. Good luck, I know you'll be just fine. I have confidence in you! By Christmas, you'll be a shadow of your former self!!

thanks sarahsmum! all encouragement is needed lol! and as far as the indigestion and pain after i had been true to my diet for about a month i no longer needed the prilosec or the anti inflamitories i am hoping that it will go back to the way it was ! its not just the weight that this woe helps but many other symptoms as well!

Exactly...this WOE helps a LOT of things besides just weight loss. You still have over 30 pounds lost which is quite the accomplishment. You've come so far and I've no doubt you'll be right back on track in no time. I also bet that some of the added pounds are water which should come off in fairly short order. Nike says, "Just do it," and that's exactly what you're doing. And, you're not lazy...you're just learning new habits for your life. We all take a misstep or two, go down the wrong path for a bit, but the sign of a true champion is the one who can get back on the right path and make the changes they need to make. Go, go, go....
