Back on it! I have switched to a vegan diet as of January 1. I did Veganuary, a month long vegan challenge for January but I like it, so have kept it up. It has been a bit of an adjustment and I did not focus too much on calories until the last week or so. I have found that on a vegan diet it is pretty easy to over eat on calorie dense foods, so I still need to track. Overall eating vegan leads me to make healthier choices, which I love. I also live in a very vegan friendly place so I can get whatever I want in a vegan version, it's just not as readily available (ie: now I skip the office pastries cause they aren't vegan but there is an amazing vegan bakery near my work if I am really wanting a treat). I am doing it for health, the animals and the environment - not as a way to lose weight. So now it's been almost 2 months, I finally feel like I am in a bit of a groove and started adding back in calorie counting. I really want to get my meal preps going again and pre-entering my daily calories so decision making is easier at the end of the day (my most vulnerable snack time)! This week I prepped healthy snacks and took those which really helped me not go to the snack cupboard or inhale a bunch of snacks as soon as I get home before making dinner. I also am going back on IF 16:8, which sucks to adjust to but definitely does help me curb cravings and over eat calories in the evenings.
217.2 lb Lost so far: 20.6 lb.    Still to go: 17.2 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
