SherryeB's Journal, 10 February 2020

A lot of our beautiful snow melted yesterday. It did warm up, but only into the 40's. Today it's raining, so I'm sure a lot more will wash away.

We watched the Oscars last night. We record them so we can fast forward thru commercials & any boring speeches. I like to get a feel for any movies we may have missed that we should see. We watched "Joker" the other night & we're still trying to process how we felt about it. Also watched "Harriet" over the weekend and we did enjoy that.

My lunch group is going to Olive Garden on Thursday. It's a new location for us. I looked online last night & was pleased to see there were options....mostly Lunch Portions....that were not exorbitant in calories. Since Valentines Day is Friday and we usually have either lunch or dinner out I don't want to go crazy.

I think I have been eating more in maintenance mode than loss mode these days. I'm only 1 to 2 lbs. from actually meeting my goal most days but, if I feel like eating a little over my RDI I have. I'm sure I'll hit it at some point, but apparently I'm in no hurry. The good news is I'm not gaining in large amounts & I feel satisfied with what I've been eating.

147.4 lb Lost so far: 25.4 lb.    Still to go: 12.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Yes. Olive Garden was one of the first (I recall) to actually make their menu easy to follow with a preferred WOE. I love the chicken gnocchi soup.
